1. Data Controller

Your personal data is processed by Exon Kimya San. ve Tic. Ltd. Şti. ("Exon Kimya") in its capacity as data controller.

2. Personal Data We Process

Only the following data is processed through our website:

• Contact form: full name, company name (optional), email address and the information you share with us in your message.
• Site visit: records such as IP address, date and time of visit and browser information, kept for security purposes by the infrastructure that hosts the site.
• Visit and performance statistics: data collected with the cookieless measurement tools of our hosting provider Vercel, such as the page viewed, referring site, device and browser type, country and page load times. This data is not used to identify individual visitors.
• Cookies: only if you consent, cookies placed by Google through the map on the Contact page (see section 7).

3. Purposes of Processing

Your personal data is processed for the following purposes:

• Receiving, evaluating and responding to your questions, requests and messages,
• Meeting your requests for information and quotations about our products,
• Ensuring the security and operation of our website,
• Measuring and improving the use and performance of the site.

4. Legal Grounds and Method of Collection

Your personal data is collected electronically when you fill in the contact form and visit our site.

Contact form data is processed under Article 5(2)(c) of the KVKK (processing directly related to the establishment of a contract) and Article 5(2)(f) (the legitimate interests of the data controller, provided that the fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject are not harmed); security records of site visits and visit and performance statistics under Article 5(2)(f); and map cookies on the basis of your explicit consent under Article 5(1).

5. Transfer of Personal Data

Your personal data is not shared with or sold to third parties for marketing purposes. Data is transferred only in the following cases and only to the extent required by the purpose of processing:

• To the form service provider (Web3Forms) we use to forward form messages to our email address, and to our email service provider. The servers of these providers may be located outside Türkiye; in that case the transfer is carried out in accordance with Article 9 of the KVKK.
• To the infrastructure provider that hosts our website and collects visit and performance statistics (Vercel). This provider's servers may be located outside Türkiye; in that case the transfer is carried out in accordance with Article 9 of the KVKK.
• To Google, the provider of the map, if you consent to viewing the map.
• To legally authorized public institutions and bodies, upon their request and to the extent required by legislation.

6. Retention Period

Your personal data is kept for as long as necessary to respond to and conclude your request and for the limitation periods provided in the relevant legislation; at the end of these periods it is deleted, destroyed or anonymized.

7. Cookies

Our website does not use advertising or tracking cookies of its own. Visit and performance statistics are collected without cookies; no cookie is placed on your device for this purpose.

The map on our Contact page is provided by Google Maps. The map loads only if you consent; once loaded, Google may place cookies in your browser and process information such as your IP address under its own privacy policy. If you do not consent, the map does not load; you can still access our address and the map link.

Your cookie preference is stored in your browser's local storage solely to remember this choice. You can change your preference at any time using the “Cookie Preferences” link at the bottom of the page.

8. Your Rights under the KVKK

Under Article 11 of the KVKK, by applying to the data controller you have the right to:

• Learn whether your personal data is processed,
• Request information if it has been processed,
• Learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used in line with that purpose,
• Know the third parties, in Türkiye or abroad, to whom it is transferred,
• Request correction if it has been processed incompletely or inaccurately,
• Request its deletion or destruction under the conditions set out in Article 7 of the KVKK,
• Request that correction, deletion and destruction be notified to the third parties to whom the data was transferred,
• Object to any outcome to your detriment arising from the analysis of processed data exclusively by automated systems,
• Claim compensation if you suffer damage due to unlawful processing.

9. Applications

You can submit requests concerning your rights, together with information that identifies you, in writing to our address above or by email to info@exonkimya.com. Your application will be concluded as soon as possible depending on the nature of the request, and within thirty days at the latest.
